JLT Mobile Computers, a leading developer of demanding-environment computers, has been selected by Volvo Car Body Components to supply its Verso + 10 computers for use in the company’s Olofström plant located in Sweden.
Volvo plans to install the computers to its factory-located forklifts to enable greater control and connectivity within them.
“When the customer, Volvo Car Body Components, was about to select IT equipment for their production facility in Olofström, Sweden, they requested a solution that was designed to withstand the toughest operating conditions,” said Per Redenius, Key Account Manager at Idnet, the sales partner of JLT.
