Bettaway Supply Chain Services entered the electric vehicle space with the introduction of two all-electric yard tractors Sept. 26 to support its logistics operations in New Jersey.
The new battery-electric yard switching tractors are specialized units that maneuver trailers around facilities and yards. They will be replacing diesel counterparts. Bettaway uses the yard tractors to support the operations at an Arizona Beverage Co. production facility.
