Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) announced on August 7 that it has received approval from the U.S. Department of Labor and the Department of Veterans Affairs – including State Approving Agencies (SAA) – to become the first luxury automotive manufacturer to offer a Registered Apprenticeship Program in four states.
The company’s program, Mercedes-Benz DRIVE, consists of a 16-week technician training and development program. Veterans and nonveterans alike will be trained for in-demand technician careers at authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
