In Taiwan last year, IC industry production value fell 10.2% to $139.2 billion, the Industrial Economics and Knowledge Center said.
This year, the Taiwan IC manufacturing sector is expected to grow 16.6% to $98.7 billion led by TSMC with sales of $92.7 billion.
This year Taiwan’s IC design sector will see its output rise 14.6% to $40 billion, while IC packaging is expected to grow 11% to $14 billion, and IC testing is expected to grow 12.6% to $6.8 billion.
