Some General Motors light-duty pickup production is going to shift to Flint, Mich., from Mexico, according to a report.
The Detroit Newsreported Thursday that an undisclosed amount of production in GM’s Silao, Mexico, plant will move to the Flint Assembly Plant next year, according to a May 20 memo from UAW Local 598 to members. It’s unclear how just how much production is moving to Flint.
