EIA: US oil, gas output fell slightly in July

US crude oil production during July fell just 0.2% vs. the June average to 8.685 million b/d, according to the US Energy Information Administration’s Monthly Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production Report. The July US average was down 7.8% year-over-year.

The federal offshore Gulf of Mexico segment rose 1% in July vs. June to 1.562 million b/d, down 0.3% compared with the July 2015 average. North Dakota output increased 0.4% month-over-month to 1.028 million b/d, down 14.4% year-over-year.
