Eaton Corporation has revealed an $18.5 million expansion plan for its aerospace manufacturing facility located in Orchard Park, New York. This significant investment aims to boost production capacity to cater to the increasing demand in the military, commercial aerospace, and space sectors while also creating 77 skilled manufacturing jobs. The expansion encompasses adding 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space to enhance operational efficiency by bringing shipping, receiving, warehousing, and stocking processes under one roof.
This development is a strategic move by Eaton to accommodate the rising needs of military clients by increasing its production of actuation technology critical to the U.S. Air Force and Navy. Currently, Eaton employs over 450 individuals focused on developing mission-critical technologies such as oxygen and actuation systems for both commercial aircraft and defense sectors. The newly expanded facility will enable Eaton to not only meet existing contracts but also adapt to future demands with improved efficiency.
